On the eve of the 2015 America Open, I remembered that we’d shot the below series of mini-documentaries focusing on team OBB at last year’s AO. Watching them reminded me of the sick feeling I had in my stomach that entire weekend, and for week’s after. The 3rd video – “Guts” – features Team Captain, Marco Coppola’s, 330kg PR total, and is absolutely my favorite of the bunch. If his 337kg 6/6 total from Nationals is any indication, him and the mighty Wes Kitts should provide a great finish to the weekend.
Last year we were in DC with a small but hopeful women’s team. This year we travel to Reno with a full and hopeful men’s team. I’ll have info on sessions and live stream tomorrow, but here’s to hoping we leave Reno with more than just a sick feeling.
