AM session – felt good 30 minutes after caffeine and water.
    1. 185# base – felt good not great. room to improve here.
    2. Which base do I use: my snatch max is 200 but my snatch balance max is 225. I did it off the 225# base. Felt very good.
    3. 200# base – pulling from the floor is my weakness, so I’m looking forward to this simple activity. Felt good.
    4. 300# base – felt very good.

    Thanks!

  3. Hey Jared, while it’s on my mind, if we are doing jerk balances or recoveries do we do them with our preferred jerk style? Just asking because I prefer power to split.

    • Jared doesn’t read these as far as I know. Personally not sure how you do a power jerk balance, but if you’ve found a way, go for it. Recoveries should work just fine. The balance is generally used to get used to pushing off the back foot and quickly getting the front foot forward.

  4. Haha ok. Yeah I’m a dumb ass I was talking more about recoveries. I suppose I should work my weaknesses and do recoveries from split as well. Also if I find a way to do balances from the power I’ll be sure to let everyone know. Thanks for the reply.
