It looks like we’re ready for a soft launch of the Outlaw Competitor Template on wodfollow. We are still working out some kinks and exploring the functionality of the site/app, but we are fully functional programming wise and ready to get to work. As I’ve spent some time now with wodfollow, I am even more excited about teaming up with them. I have always wanted an easy means of communicating with our athletes, as well as, legitimate tracking software. wodfollow provides both of these things, and allows athletes to have excellent records of their work.

I know what everyone is thinking – “wodfollow costs money, does this mean the free programming on the site goes away?”

The answer would be no. I made a promise to always provide free programming on this site years ago, and I will keep that promise.

Does it, however, mean that the competitors template is better than the site?

Yes, actually, it does. Largely because the software is far superior, the communication tools are amazing, and it will give me the opportunity to actually work with far more people than I’ve ever had access to in the past. The program will be different than the site, as well. Being able to have such ease of communication with athletes will allow for tailoring of the base program to address each person individually, while still maintaining the principles of the overall program. It will also, for the first time since the beginning of the site, give athletes the ability to compare times/load with all of our Games and Regional level athletes. The daily competition we had, 5 years ago, when my original group of 20 athletes started posting on the site, is back.

Also, in case there was any doubt, Jared Fleming is a bad dude…
