Yesterday we posted two fairly epic snatches…

The first was Lauren Suever’s 91kg/200# Snatch PR at 69kg. It made her the second Outlaw female ever to Snatch 200# from the floor, and featured one of the more “unbridled” celebrations I’ve seen from a lady.

The second, well that one is already legendary at this point. It was Jared Fleming’s 170kg/374# would-be American record breaking lift. Look… I am well aware Jared technically lifted as a 105kg yesterday. He weighed in at 95.1kg – not really a “true” 105, geniuses – because he knew the record wouldn’t count at a non-national meet, and because he probably ate a burrito before weigh-in (again, because he didn’t care). Jared walks as probably one of the lightest 94s in the country, and I’m pretty sure losing that 2.3#s will require all of one good poop.

Anywho…

He snatched 170kg. It’s the best lift I’ve ever seen him do, and I’ve seen him lift alot. He’s not even close to peaked for Nationals. Dallas is going to be incredible.
