Today, we’re featuring two very cool snatches…
The first is Oxana Slivenko snatching 210#/95.5kg at the Meridian Regional. I watched this event live – just to watch her snatch – and what you don’t see is her judge telling her she can try again. She literally didn’t know. She looks at him, he points at the bar and nods, and she runs back over and hits it.
I mean sure, she’s snatched like 30kg more than this, and has an Olympic Silver Medal in Weightlifting, but it was really exciting?

The second is Jared Fleming, in DC this weekend, snatching 156kg/345#, on his way to 165kg/365#, in jeans. Apparently these jeans are flexible like sweatpants, but I dont care, they’re still jeans.

Power Clean/ Push Jerks have to be UB in Conditioning Piece ?
I would say so, T&G and UB are usually synonymous on this site
Don’t have the mobility for jerk grip ohs. Should I just do normal ohs?
