7X3 Snatch from blocks (just above knee) – work to a max triple for the day, rest as needed

Strength/Skill

1a) 5X3 Pullups + 3 C2B Pullups + 3 Bar Muscle-Ups (the goal is unbroken: if you cannot complete the complex UB, complete the reps in a way where you practice the transition between each movement) – rest 90 sec.

1b) 4X10 Back Squats (timed sets) – work to a close to maximal set of 10 (based off last week’s sets) and note time for each set, rest 90 sec.

      -Happy with this, we did diane a few weeks ago, and this is incredibly close to what I got. So my kipping HSPUs are definitely improving.

    Sticked to the ‘fast’ singles C2B but my upper body became really tired especially in round 2 and they slowed me down. Anyway, I didn’t expect to go this far during the open and now it’s just back to work. I feel great improvement since I started this program mid january so this was a good way to get tested.

    Cond: 10:15 absolutely sucked. Deadlifts didn’t go right and hspu didn’t go right, got very frustrated. And I’ve been doing Jared Fleming’s lower back strength work (come to find out it’s quite a weakness) and the deadlifts blew me up quickly.

    Conditioning: Masters Event 4- 5:18. Most box jumps on 15/9’s were step-ups. HSPU for higher volume sets is coming. (21/8-7/5-4) would like UB on these. DL UB-hamstrings always pay for this
