Due to some horrible right shoulder pain I haven’t done any ring dips or MU’s in weeks so I wasn’t looking forward to this. First 7 hurt more each rep. Did 3 singles on the second round and couldn’t take the pain so I had to stop. I probably should get an MRI but don’t have insurance at the moment.
Rested a few mins then did the back squat from today. Worked up to 295.

I believe it! I can definitely relate, it’s frustrating.
I was having shoulder pain from all the dips and burpees we’ve been doing, and have been doing strict dumb bell presses and face pulls and it takes the pain away. Apparently my lower traps needed strengthening to balance it out. Maybe your problem is similar.
