  1. Unfortunately I’ll be taking tonight off. Whatever sickness I’ve caught is really messing me up. Headache, dizziness, sore throat, congestion, and aching all over… I think it’s best to just get a good meal in after work and get some rest. Good luck to everyone that lifts. Hope you nail some jerk PRs.

    • Sounds like the flu. Drink water, but don’t drink too much water or you’ll get that stuff on Crossfit.com. jk. Get better.

      I signed up for the Open btw. Should be terrible. I haven’t breathed hard since before Christmas.

  2. I have been following the outlaw way for 2 years now.I started barbell at the beginning of this cycle. I freaking love it!!!!! I know Monday wasn’t 1rm day but I was feeling it that day. I usually don’t deviate from the program but I went with it and pulled a new PR. Thanks for the programming!!!!

  3. 1) I worked out at my gym instead of my garage yesterday and forgot to bring chalk. I somehow managed to finish all of these even though I was lifting outside, in the sun, on a 80+ sunny California day. Worked up to 240# sweaty hands and all, I’m calling it a PR 😉
    2) Hit 260#, 5# PR. I may have had another 5+# but my shoulder was screaming at me to stop so I listened. I still clean more than I jerk but now it’s only a 5# difference.
    3) Worked up to 285#.
    4) Worked up to 215#.

    I signed up for my 1st meet on 3/14. I have a coach, he told me I should be doing 80% or so this week and maxing out next week but I started this program on day 1 and i’m going to finish it damnit! Any advice on how to stretch out this peak cycle so I’m ready for the 14th?
