4) Based on an estimated 300# max – no misses. Technically the last time I did a 1RM I hit 280#. The last time I 3RMed I hit the same number so that’s where the estimate comes from. So doing the 95% (285#) doubles were new 1RMs.
Only did the squats as I’m feeling under the weather today (soar throat, dizziness, exhaustion all day). It started yesterday which may have been a factor in the poor C&J performance. Hopefully I’ll bounce back tomorrow.
1) Hit all of them but the 95% were getting a little parallel.
2) I think I did them too light but I haven’t tested my 1RM on these in a while.

4) Based off a couple month old 1RM of 275 but worked up to 265 for double. Had a little more but not much.
Rick, Monday was a fail for me as well on those C&J’s. I hit exactly what you did, couldn’t jerk the last rep and just felt destroyed after. I’ve been sick the last few days too. The good news is that my shoulder isn’t sore at all which is not normal for me, I have a separated shoulder so typically I am destroyed after a heavy day of jerking but I must be getting stronger and/or my form is getting better…so I’ll take that as a PR! 😉
Yeah, I’ve been struggling on all the heavy C&Js this cycle. It’s been rough. I’m having the exact opposite result with the snatches which are going beyond well. I think my biggest weakness is my legs. I’ve got way more pulling power than squat power and it’s always a limiting factor.
Good job on getting through everything with this workout. I wanted to hit it all but this head cold is messing me up.
1.Missed at 90% dropped back to 80% and finished the rest. 165#
2.Couldn’t hit anything above 90%. Backed it off to 85% and finished the rest. 235#
3.Missed the second at 85%. Dropped it back to 80% and finished the rest. 225%
4.Couldn’t hit anything over 90%. Dropped it back to 85% and finished the rest. 285#
Felt pretty tired that day.
