WOD 150220:

1) Alternating EMOM for 14:00-

1 Three Position Snatch (floor, hang, power position)*

*Begin at 60% of 1RM Snatch and add weight each minute until you can no longer complete the complex. When a miss occurs on the complex subtract 5-10# and complete the remainder of the EMOM. Try to add 5-10# + to last week.

20 Split Jumps (each jump counts 1 rep)

2) Paused Front Squat (3 count pause in rock bottom) + Jerk: 1×3+1@85%, 3×3+1@90%, 1×3+1@85% (Based on 1RM Clean)

3) *This is a repeat, with changes to the BBJ numbers. Free OBB t-shirt to anyone who finishes, with video for proof.

  1. Can we use 3 bars? 135, 155 and 185lbs? or we have to change the weight? thx 😉 we are going for t-shirts 😉

    • I won’t speak for Rudy but ask yourself how this piece would be set up if it were in the Open? With this in mind I would do it with one bar.

      Interesting though when you think about Regionals and the Games where everything is more “laid out” for the athletes due to ease for the spectators. I would argue that in those venues there would be three different bars.

    PFS+J: 102.5, 107.5, 107.5, 107.5, 102.5kg.
    Cond: 161 reps (4/6 PC @ 85kg/185lb)
    Jeez this was tough once again. Legs felt like they had no spring today. Improved by one rep on last week.

    2) Off of 285# – only missed first jerk @ 90% due to lack of mental focus and rushing jerk. This complex is brutal but is paying off!

    3) 164 reps (1 BBJ after 6 P/C @ 185#) – missed this pieced last week in preparing for a competition that got cancelled due to a damn snowstorm. Happy with this result though.

    Cond: 15min amrap: total: 104reps (finished 8 p.clean on 70kg and 7 bbj of the next 15) did more cleans this week. The first few rounds of bbj felt slow.
    My wife also did the conditioning rxd, she got 124reps. She kicked my ass. Haha

    Since hardly any females post on here, thought I’d better start posting 🙂

    1) BBG: 25, 27, 30, 32, 35, 37, 40kgs no misses, didn’t add on last week as my set at 40 last week was only just! Was easy this week. Split jumps done, all UB this time.

    2) Based on 62kg, Pause FS+jerk: 52, 55, 55, 55, 52kgs no misses. All felt very easy, think I need to re-test my C&J again, those percentages felt way off.

    3) Cond: 110 reps (13/15 2nd lot of BBJ)
    holy hell that was hard, missed last weeks. The P/cleans were the easy part….damn I hate BBJ. The rest of you must be some kind of BBJ beasts!!!
