This is a bit of a de-load week, after last weeks intensity. Enjoy it, because the following week gets tough again.

1) Clean & jerk (%1rm c&j) – 1×3@50%, 1×3@60%, 1×3@70%, 1×3@75%, 1×3@70%

2) Snatch balance + overhead squat (%1rm sn) – 1×2+2@50%, 1×2+2@60%, 1×2+2@70%-2+2, 1×2+2@75%, 1×2+2@70%
*1 set = 2 snatch balances followed by 2 OHS

3) Front squat + power jerk (%1rm clean) – 1×3+1@50%, 1×3+1@60%, 1×3+1@70%, 1×3+1@75%, 1×3+1@70%
*1 set = 3 Front squats followed by 1 power jerk

  1. How do we read that “-2+2” written after the 70% for the C&J and snatch balance/ohs complex?

    • the clean and jerk 1×3@70% 3+3 is like the rest of them. just take out that 3+3 at the end. sorry, that didn’t get deleted.

there was an * after the snatch balance that says how to read it. 1 set = 2 snatch balances followed by 2 OHS. so at 50%, do 2 snatch balances followed by 2 OHS

  2. Hit all percentages without issue. A little forward on the Jerks but fixed on the very last one.

  3. 1) Based off 275#
    2) Based off 240#
    3) Based on 275#

No misses. For whatever reason deload weeks tend to feel absolutely horrible. I’m assuming it’s all the prior weeks added up but the lighter weight feels really heavy.
