I know I said pre-orders of the Nike OBB gear would be ready to go today, but they’re not. We’re trying to make sure we have all items ready to go before we post them. By tomorrow we should have a second (zip up) hoodie, women’s shorts, hats, tights, sweatpants, and backpacks along with the short and long sleeve t-shirts, and crew and hooded sweatshirts we got last week.

  4. I actually switched my programming to Invictus competition programming mainly because of the problem with the comments. I love Rudy, love the programming – but I workout by myself in a garage gym and want to compare my times and weights to a large number of people to find out where I am and what I need to work on. Invictus has over 400 comments per day which gives me a massive amount of data to compare myself to. Not a shot at Outlaw programming in any way, as I said I think Outlaw and Rudy are great. Just trying to let whoever actually moderates this know that the comment issue is a big deal. I have also noticed a huge number of people post on Invictus site that I know used to post here before this was an issue.

      I know people who have left here to go to Invictus as well as Misfits and Power and Grace…

      Sad to see people leaving the site, especially those who have posting ability, but I totally get it.

    1/1/1 – as a side note, I’m trying to transition back to my inov8’s from my Oly’s. My ankle mobility is shit, seeing as how I can only do four pistols in two minutes. Reason being, I want to do these lifts without any help so that when I put on the Oly’s, I’m that much better.

  14. I’m coming back from invictus as well. I thought my conditioning had gone to crap and thought it was due to BB volume. Turns out I just suck (or have no heart for conditioning) and I got weaker and less proficient at the WL movements, which is what i enjoy most.
    So I will stop being a lurker and post my numbers so ppl can compare and talk sh!t.

    • I’m in the same boat man. Invictus has strange programming that can work for certain people, but definitely did not for me. I don’t understand the rhyme or reason behind the prescribed sets for example. I’ve never been good at weightlifting, but I felt that my overall strength was starting to lag as well in terms of the slow lifts (squatting specifically) versus to how I felt following Outlaw programming.

      • I just switched over here as well. Mostly because my olympic lifts are really weak. And I like a simple (front squat 4×5) instead of all the percentage stuff.

      • I felt the same as well. I finished the TOW squat cycle at the end of 2013 and PR’d my FS @405 and and my BS@475. After switching over I haven’t been close to those numbers.
