    • This helped me BIG TIME with bench press. I used to bench all the time, that was basically all I did, and was always internally rotated (elbows out) with shoulder issues. Bend the bar as your descend, this ensures external rotation, pull it apart as you extend.

      • Thanks. I’ll give it a go. I have never had an issue but the past few months I have been tweaking it on HSPU. Got a cortizone injection and it cleared up for a few weeks then the deficit’s over the weekend brought it back. Doc said Aleve and rest but I don’t want this to keep coming back. I’m not that old yet.

        • Understood. Shoulders take a while. I’ve separated both and bc of that training suffered big time. But u don’t want to not be able to do things with ur arms when ur 60. Know ur body.

    4/2/4 – Tweaked inside right groin/hip area yesterday during the 1RM attempt. Didn’t help it with the thrusters. Extremely hard to adduct my right leg…feels like hip is out of socket. Did what I could today, getting it worked on tonight, and hopefully it will be better by tomorrow.

    2RM Pause Hang Clean: worked up to 225#; called it there to be safe; drop sets done
    2RM BTN Jerk: 225#; same as above
