Did Hang Power Clean from the email
So is it power clean or power snatch?
Alex,
It’s not power anything. It’s a hang snatch, if he wants power he will indicate “power” before the lift.

Coach, at some point in the 4 weaks is it normal to feel heavy and sluggish? or is it an outside factor?
I naturally have a smaller frame and eating about 2500-3000 calories a day. Any feed back helps.

1. Followed email, did Power Cleans
Eat even more and cut back on the conditioning if necessary, but yes feeling “heavy” is normal to a certain extent.
Kinda same here…my low back hasn’t been at 100% since the start of this cycle and all my bodyweight stuff is being challenged by the fact that I’m getting moobs from so much upper body work. They’ll be plenty of time to get back to svelte crossfitty shape by next years open though…

I noticed other people are getting over 5 reps on the ME, while I only got 2. Am I doing something wrong? I based percentages off training weight (90% of 1rm) and went up 10lbs on training weight when told to recently.
Still could be too heavy. Did you feel like you were going to fail the first rep? That should be a sure thing.
The very first week you should have gotten 10+ reps no problem at 85%. If this is your first time doing a repeating Wendler cycle, the first 3 weeks you should be blowing your sets out of the water. Second 3 weeks doesn’t have to be as crazy but if you are barely matching/rarely beating the prescribed reps, you will probably stall by the third cycle and future ones.
That or you just need htfu and bring some pain o_0
I guess I’m screwed. I was only getting 6-8 the first cycle. What’s the best way to fix it? Drop down in weight, or don’t increase for the next 3 weeks?
Drop in weight.
Thanks. When we start the next three weeks I will drop back to my first week weights.
