  1. So we have some of the safety bars you had posted a few days/weeks ago in your post/response to the questions about what to use for the Jerk work for dropping them from overhead. You had posted a pic of the MDUSA ones i think and we have a few sets of the rogue ones for our rig to match.

    Have you guys had any issues with this method bending bars? I dont know if we had a bent bar before this method was used, but we definitely have a bent bar after this method was used by an athlete yesterday. The weight was not super heavy either maxing around 225.

    If anyone else out there has run into an issue like this please chime in…

    • I will say we definitely use our oldest, lowest quality barbells to do our jerk recoveries for that reason.

    • Squats: 370…just going to have to split up days on squat days…heat and humidity too much
