2) 15 minutes to establish a 1RM Clean & Jerk.

Conditioning

Run 400m
21 HSPU (regionals standards – kipping allowed)
12 Hang Snatch (full squat) 115/75#

  1. 1) 165# (10# PR) felt pretty good.
    2) 220# (5# PR) felt pretty tough in the bottom, but the jerk was very easy
    Conditioning:
    17:58, my hips were fried so I didn’t squat snatch, I power snatched 125# instead. I was in a globo gym type set up so I had to run up and down the stairs for the 400m (treadmill). HSPU were Rx.

    1/1/3 – hips and low back slightly sore from squats and pistols

    Came into today just looking to be solid. No focus on PR’ing…

    Sn: 190#; +3# PR from floor; ties LT PR from any position.

    C&J: 245#; +5# PR

    Conditioning: 19:30 Rx. Fun one. Would like to try this while fresh.

  3. 1) 195(+10) tried 200 twice but wasn’t happening. Little sad.
    2) 255 (+10)

    Cond scaled to 95 half way through the first round. 23:54
    +40 on snatch since I started in March and +50 on c&j. I’d say it’s working.

    Happy with this considering my positing on the first pull was inconsistent and my head was beating every time I caught

    Did a lot of shoulder work yesterday so

    10 pistols
    4:52 never done pistols before

    Skill/Accessory: 3×10 Strict Pull-ups/3×5 Push-Press @ 185. Done. Doing some row/HSWalks to blend the two workouts.
