I posted this yesterday but has anyone else seen the first 3 events for Regionals? 1RM hang snatch, max distance handstand walk and literally almost exactly our conditioning from yesterday for event 3. Has Castro started following The Way?
@Jordan – First two events do seem to be TOW related. Then again, they did Max Hang Snatch on the CF Tour thing in Australia, 1RM Sn in the Games a few years back, and max distance HS walks in the 2012 (?) Games. You’re going to see the level of Regionals drastically increase, as it should, to determine the fittest 3 people in each Region.
As far as WoD #3, Castro announced it was going to be Nasty Girls V2…which has 50/7/10 in it…I do think Rudy is smart, but I don’t think it was a stretch to see basically the same variations of the movements with more difficulty or heavier weight. Rudy more than likely did goblet squats because the Sneak Peek video opened on a KB…
I’ll agree there’s been some things that he’s programmed for the Open and even mainsite with the rest:work stuff that looks like TOW but Castro also announced on instagram or something last week that they were doing “Nasty Girls V2” which is why I assume Rudy programmed Monday’s metcon as he did.
I didnt see the Nasty Girl announcement. I just assumed Rudy was a wizard and could see visions of the workouts in advance.
are you all jumping or stepping over the box on the burpees?
@Rampage – With two 50# DBs in your hands, if you are able to jump over the box numerous times, please video tape it and post it lol. These will, most definitely, be step-overs for everyone.
If you have the time, check out the International Competition between the US and World…they had to do synchronized ones…

Wondering if anyone else has noticed a decrease in their snatch loading since the star of doing cleans mon and snatches tues. Everything I pick up the day after cleans feels like a shit ton.
@Joey – I have yet to notice it except for on Saturdays. Then again, I work out Friday night and am back in the gym Saturday morning, so that might have something to do with it…
