Idk why, but the amount of PR videos has rapidly decreased in the last two weeks. Could be due to the fact that holding a barbell is almost impossible when your hands are oozing, or maybe everyone ran out of memory space on their phones – again, I don’t know, but it means content for today’s post is nonexistent. So, you get a workout, and a picture of the lovely Ms. Lydia.

1) 7X1 Snatch from blocks (just above knee) – work to a max for the day, rest 90 sec.

*14.2 Repeaters: Complete #1 and nothing else before your attempt. If you have time (or anything left), you may do the rest of the work for the day after finishing – preferably with a solid amount of rest.

2A) 3X3 Snatch Grip BTN Push Press + 2 OHS – heaviest possible, rest 90 sec.
2B) 3X3 Three Stop Snatch Pull (with 2 count pause at each stop) – heaviest possible with perfect positions, rest 90 sec. DEMO VIDEO (please watch)

Strength/Skill

1a) 3X60 (seconds) Freestanding HS Hold – rest 90 sec.
1b) 3X20 (steps) Front Rack Walking Lunges – heaviest possible (with no pause to gather feet), rest 90 sec.

    *Very pleased with this. Kept very controlled through everything, broke PU in 12s into 6/6 and then 7/4,2,1. Grip limited me here, even with broken up PU I ended up not being able to string more than a couple together. Could OHS for days though.

  17. Snatch from Blocks – up to 275. Dropped 286 on my head a little. My arms are tired

    Sn PP + OHS – 225, 225, 245
    Snatch Pulls – 286

    HS Hold – worked on staying in one square spot up to about 15-20 seconds at a time
    Lunges – I subbed 24″ step ups with the bar in the back rack at 135#. Felt like doing this to target my hip a little more and i did not feel like clearing space in the room.
