Sorry for the late post, kids. Due to the fact that Texas has the weirdest weather on earth, we had to power through as much info as possible with the awesome San Antonio campers.

I’m spent, but these guys were worth it…

Cond: The building I have high enough ceilings in to do wall balls is unheated. Current temperature in Charles City, IA: -12 with 40 MPH wind and -45 degree wind chill. So that wasnt happening. I tried to pick a WOD that would suck equally as bad as Karen.

13.3 ate my lunch last year – was like 10 DU short. Wanted to give it a go this year relatively fresh-ish. Need some serious Outlaw advice.
Today Got thru 150 WB at 6:43 (4 sets of 25, 5 sets of 10- went smooth, felt good after- best cadence I’ve done to date-wasn’t out breath). Started DU at 7 min, and it took my almost 5 minutes to complete 90. FMDUL. While DU are certainly not a strength, I have strung together 100+ in a row and usually do okay with them- not great not bad. For whatever reason I, again today like 13.3, couldn’t string two donkey balls together on my DU. I got thru 90 but had like 5 seconds left- it was a joke I couldn’t get thru it in 5 minutes. Did 7 MU in the next minute after the 12 was up- so they weren’t a problem.
    Any thoughts/advise?

    • Start doing DUs after every workout. Go as hard as you can on everything as RX — Then grab your rope and pick sets that are mandatory to do UB. Start with something simple like 5 sets of 15 UB. You cannot stop/rest until you get all 5 sets. Do them fatigued, do them everyday.

Karen: 9:00. Apparently, I need to get c0ckpunched because this is 0:56 slower than my PR. Once I realized a PR wasn’t going to happen, kind of just threw in the towel. Not sure if it was the late start, the lunges, or just out of it, but with 23 training days left, this is unacceptable. Tried going 10 WBs E30OT30, but fell apart at 100.
