WOD 140111:

BBG

1) 10 minutes to establish a 1rm Snatch (no more than 3 maximal attempts).

2) 10 minutes to establish a 1rm Clean & Jerk (no more than 3 maximal attempts).

Strength

12 minutes to establish a 3rm Front Squat.

Conditioning

Complete as many reps as possible in 7 minutes following the rep scheme below:

    84 reps – 4 reps better than in 13.4, but had way too much left in the tank at the end.

    Happy with all the lifts above.

    Conditioning: 81 reps. FML. -4 from 13.4 of 85. Not sure what it was. Felt well paced the entire time. Probably taking that extra second each rep and after 60 reps, that’s a full minute wasted. Should have done a few doubles instead of all singles. ‘Til we meet again 13.4…

    I flipped 1&2 around so I could work technique. I could hav squated more but ran out of time. All lifts are down but I just took a week off for mobility work, the positions feel better so its time to work.

    62 reps, I was not able to go u/b through 12s on c&j or t2b, must push harder.

  18. @Rudy
    How would you advise those of us who performed 13.4 last year and scored worse yesterday to interpret these results? It’s easy for us, or me at least, to justify the lower score simply due to the work done on Friday and prior to the actual WoD, but doing so in hindsight doesn’t make it correct. Should we be depressed, like you must feel now that your Skins hired Boob Gruden, or is this exactly where we should be given your template?

    46 Rx’d (+45 Reps from the open when this was my 1RM) only needed 2 more to get back to T2B which were free reps.

    1) 205. Pulled early on one and hit the tip-pissed off the rest of the day

    Did 5 min emom’s at 185 snatch/245 clean just to get my mind right 5/5 on each

    Strength
    3rm Front Squat. 345×3. 365×2 (f) on 3rd

    Conditioning: 97 (-6). Felt it from the row/burpee/row wod yesterday. Was shooting for 110. Recovery time

    2) 125 kg; 2,5 kg PR ; failed the Jerk 2 times at 130 kg
    3) 135 kg / 2 reps at 140 kg, weight shifted to the toes on 3rd rep on the way up so had to drop it
