  1. I’ve amassed enough cash for a quality bar (no not a bearing bar). I’ve been using a Rogue Ohio Bar but have been considering a Pendlay HD Bar. Please let me know what you prefer and why. Thank you!

    I posted this same question but it was a beater bar vs a HD bar….no comparison i’m sure.

    • Keep saving for the bearings man. There is nothing quite like a Bearing bar. The first time I Used Pendlay’s bearing bar I used a blow torch and melted all the bushing bars. True story.

    • Im very fortunate that our gym has 5 Pendlay bearing bars. But we recently picked up bearing bar from http://www.nevergiveupconditioning.com and for the price it really is a GREAT bar. I think they go for $329. So they’re priced about 200 dollars cheaper. But then again not really sure the long term usage of the bar. Def worth checking out

    • if you have saved $500-$600, save for 2 more months and buy an eleiko. it’s worth the wait, trust me. I used the old school rogue bar for 5 years and it worked fine, got an eleiko and can’t recommend it enough.

    • Agreed with all the above. Save up for the Pendlay Bearing bar. I was used to the Rogue Ohio and the Pendlay HD at the gym but saved up for the Bearing bar and it’s not even close. It’s hard to explain but you literally don’t notice the bar during your lifts which is a good thing. Or of course you could go all out on the Eleiko like Crabcakes said.
      One word of caution though, make sure you go back and use the rogue bars every once in a while because once you’re used to the bearing bar it will throw your game off when you get to a local Crossfit competition and have to build up to a max lift with a shit bar.

    Conditioning: 17:00 Rx. Goal was to maintain pace through entire workout. Was successful at that and did not redline. Broke everything into sets of 3 sans burpees which I broke down into 3 sets.

  14. Rudy I need help!! I ordered an outlaw singlet for the American open. I never made it to the American open because of weather and my coach wasn’t able to get my singlet from you. I keep getting mixed info from Syn. He now says that you have my singlet. What do I have to do to get the damn thing already? I’m about ready to ask for my money back and just order a different one online. Please respond!!!!

  20. Barbell @ 180. Getting kinda frustrated. PR is 185 from about two months. Im so consistent with 90-95%, I rarely miss these weights. But everytime I try 190 I get nowhere with it. I feel so much stronger and more confident this cycle, but my max is not reflecting it.
