Back in 2011 I was absolutely floored by the weight that professional exercisers were putting up in a max thruster. Rob’s 275 dropped my jaw.

Then something happened this week that blew my mind. For those of you who have been deaf and blind to Hookgrip’s coverage of the kings of weightlifting touring the US then you may have missed this.

  1. Just so everyone knows, Spencer did that post for me. It’s a pretty good impersonation, except I think he may have complimented Reebok. If so, I do not approve this message, however, the Klokov vid is pretty awesome.

  2. Burpees to plate – pick plate up and press it at the top of the burpee? Never seen these programmed and Google search was not conclusive.

    • lol that sounds gnarly!!!

      It’s to jump on to make sure you leave the ground during the jump of the burpee. place the plate in front of you and jump on top, i.e. burpee box jump but with a plate.
