Including the jerk, the Olympic lifts were worth about 20% of all events in the past two years. That’s not likely to change. We’ve seen snatch tested in each the Open, Regionals and Games both of the last two years.

*This past weekend we held our islands first ever CrossFit competition here on Hawaii Island, The AllStar Round-Up. Athletes flew in from all over and although we’re just a little island in the middle of the pacific, I’m happy to say that I placed 1st in the Open Women’s division(first in all 3 wods actually with a new Fran PR…and im almost certain that I was the lightest in bodyweight out of all the Open Women competitors).
